There will be fun & games for the whole family, free hot chocolate, cookie decorating, mini pumpkin painting, the winner of our Spooky Yard Decoration contest will be announced and other fun events!
Not only are Halloween costumes welcome - they're encouraged! Mark your calendars October 27th, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm at Ridgewood Community Hall (3705 Mill Woods Rd East). We'll have more updates coming about the event!

Spookiest Yard Celebration
Ridgewood Community League wants to celebrate the spooky season with you by highlighting the spookiest yards in our neighbourhoods of Bisset, Minchau and Weinlos!
When you're walking around the neighbourhood this October, jot down the addresses that show off their love of the season. Then come here and submit it on our form. The address with the most submissions/votes wins! The winner will be announced at our Spooky Soiree on October 27th at 3:30 pm.
The winner will receive a prize, and even more importantly, bragging rights!
FAQ Can I vote for more than one house for their decorations? Absolutely! Vote for as many different houses as you think celebrate the season!
Can I vote for a house's decorations more than once? Please only send in one vote per household, even if you have multiple residents.
I live outside Bisset, Minchau and Weinlos - can I vote for a house in the neighbourhoods? Absolutely! Residents outside of our area can vote, although they can only vote for houses within the Ridgewood area. You can see a map of the qualifying area is below.
Rules:
The winner will be chosen based on number of submissions. In the event of a tie, a random winner will be chosen from the tied addresses.
All decorated addresses submitted must be residents of the Ridgewood area. Please see the map above to verify the the address you are submitting is eligible.
Only one vote/nomination per decorated house per household.
Any houses outside Ridgewood are ineligible.
Should any votes be deemed to be in violation of the above rules at the sole discretion of Ridgewood Community League, they will be void.
